9 DAY INTERNATIONAL ADVENTURE CAMP BASED IN THE MOURNE MOUNTAINS.
Ages 14 - 18
Aimed at International teenagers looking to better their confidence in speaking English and hoping for an authentic Irish cultural experience with fun and adventure.
The real Irish mountain experience. Mountains and rivers are the play ground.
What do we get up to?
English language immersion.
Irish cultural experience.
Activities - Hiking, swimming, canyoning, sport.
Home cooked food.
And hanging out. Our program goes with the flow of the group.
The experience builds responsibility within young people using adventures through nature and activities. Time to be present and build lasting friendships.
With high quality activities and instruction from experienced staff.
The 9 days would look like this…
Days 1 - 3: Getting to know the group.
Private indoor accommodation.
Typically cultural activities - story teller, Irish sports, Irish music, Irish foods.
Days 4 - 5: Getting adventurous.
Private indoor accommodation.
Water based activity - Canyoning or surfing.
Experience the mountains in the dark and try to see the Northern Lights.
Visit the local Village.
Days 6 - 9: The Challenge.
Mountain skills training.
Expedition through the mountains.
Tented accommodation (Last night indoors).
