Our trained and highly experienced Mountain Leaders, life guards and cold water specialists guide you into the hidden landscapes of the Mourne Mountains to the spots we love the most. Visitors will experience how to safely and enjoyable enter the world of cold water therapy and wild swimming, whilst we take you through the fundamentals.

Try our new branded water vests for an extra layer of comfort. Produced by Irish ethical clothing company OcreanR. Custom apparel that helps preserve our rivers and oceans.

Bring your hiking gear, bathing suits or birthday suits.
Warm tea supplied.
Safety kit included.

Be prepared to hike and to dip.
A pack list will be sent to you.

Towel supplied for £5.
Waterproof jacket and trousers for hiking can also be supplied for £10.

Once booked we shall contact you regarding your medical information and previous experience.

Mourne Shack reserves the right to cancel your booking based on certain medical conditions not conducive to cold water dipping. We are happy to discuss any conditions and would encourage a doctors note where appropriate.

Wild swimming is an extremely pure and enjoyable activity however it has dangers. It should be done with respect for personal safety and the conservation of the environment. Mourne Shack demonstrates a wealth of training, experience and knowhow and wishes to inspire a safe approach to water immersion in remote locations.
